Aaron Smith’s post-graduate degrees in theology and business administration help him to navigate complex litigation issues by considering what should be done, and what can practically be done. His teaching experience at public and private schools, churches, and legal programs allows him to offer clients strong and effective communication and top-notch written and oral advocacy.
He previously served as the Chief Law Clerk to United States Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk, Northern District of Texas, Amarillo Division where he worked on both civil and criminal trials, as well as national-profile cases. Working inside the court system with some of the country’s sharpest legal minds gave him insight into the experiential considerations of the federal district court system.

Aaron Smith enjoys spending time doing all that Amarillo has to offer with his wife and children. They enjoy Sod Poodles baseball, hiking in Palo Duro Canyon, and are actively involved in their local church.
He was also a two-time Academic All-American and NCAA Finalist in track & field, 800 meters.
