Chris Harkins has handled numerous contested probate matters throughout his career. He is certified by the State Bar of Texas as an Attorney Ad Litem and is often called upon by local courts to represent the interests of proposed wards in guardianship proceedings which lends to his credibility and reputation.
Chris Harkins is a probate, estate planning, and litigation attorney. In the difficult situations that may arise in probate and estate matters, Chris Harkins is skilled at treating clients and their loved ones’ wishes with care. He has advocated on all sides of the bar in will contests and guardianship disputes.
Chris Harkins works with his clients to draft and execute wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning vehicles that will withstand future litigation. His practice also involves traditional, uncontested probate and probate alternatives utilized to settle a decedent’s estate.
Chris Harkins also represents clients in the formation and operation of various business entities in Texas, including limited liability companies, limited partnerships, corporations, and general partnerships.
