Ronn Garcia has deep roots in West Texas and the South Plains having been born, raised, and educated in Lubbock, Texas. He is fluent in Spanish and has a profound respect for his community.
Ronn Garcia works primarily with public schools and education service centers in the Panhandle, West Texas, the South Plains, and Central Texas. He acts as general counsel to school districts, assisting school administrators with day-to-day issues pertaining to all areas of school law, as well as advising school boards on various legal matters. His work includes, but is not limited to, student discipline matters, personnel matters, contracts, procurement, drafting board policies and board resolutions, and open government matters, including open meetings, requests for public information, and records retention. He has also helped dozens of school districts establish education foundations. In addition to his school law practice, much of his work for other employer clients revolves around personnel matters such as developing employment policies, providing training, drafting employment agreements, assisting with terminations, providing Self I-9 Audits, and workplace investigations.
Ronn’s passion for education extends beyond his legal practice. He is an Adjunct Professor at Texas Tech University School of Law where he teaches K-12 Education Law.

Represented school boards during grievances in the appeals process.
Assisted school districts before the Texas Attorney General with Texas Public Information Act matters.
