Stephanie James’ practice consists of a wide variety of civil litigation, healthcare and employment matters. She represents clients in personal injury litigation, nonsubscriber litigation, healthcare litigation, commercial litigation (including contract disputes and deceptive trade practices claims), construction disputes, employment disputes, and general civil litigation.

Stephanie obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Texas Tech University and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Baylor Law School in 2013. Stephanie is an Amarillo native and attended Tascosa High School. Her husband, Ty, is a local high school athletic director and football coach. They have a son, Cannon, and a daughter, Harper.

  • Represented numerous healthcare providers, including a healthcare transportation company, long-term care facilities, assisted living facilities, and hospitals in various non-subscriber, employment, contract, and medical negligence disputes around the State.

  • Represented numerous employers on discrimination and/or wrongful termination claims to favorable results
