Lynn Tate’s practice is concentrated on agricultural law. Lynn represents agricultural based businesses and families, and representation ranges from litigation to business planning. Lynn has handled a number of cases regarding the cattle and farming industry, including disputes over livestock and real estate. He has tried cases in Amarillo, Lubbock and throughout the Texas Panhandle. He is licensed in both federal and state courts.
Lynn was previously an intern for the Secretary of Agriculture and has a degree in Agricultural Economics. He has major farming and ranching interests in the Texas Panhandle where he represents significant clients involved in agriculture.
Lynn is familiar with succession planning for agricultural operations, agricultural leases, Farm Service Agency and Federal Crop Insurance matters. Lynn has also been active in representing both purchasers and sellers in agricultural real estate transactions.
