Kerri Stampes

Kerri is a native of west Texas. Her practice primarily focuses on appellate law and includes the areas of commercial litigation, oil and gas litigation, products liability, professional liability, and premises liability. She assists in the defense of complex cases and has experience with cases involving large document productions.

Following law school, Kerri was a briefing attorney for the Honorable James Moseley at the Fifth District Court of Appeals in Dallas, Texas. During her time with the Court, she developed in-depth experience with appeals and appellate issues. She devotes a significant portion of her practice to appellate matters, including the drafting of post-trial motions and filings, the construction of appellate briefs, and the management of original proceedings such as writs of mandamus. She has briefed appeals filed in several intermediate Texas appellate courts, the Supreme Court of Texas, and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Kerri is active in her local church where she sings in the choir and volunteers with the youth. She spends almost all of her free time caring for and training her horses. She and her husband Jarrett have two daughters, Adalynn and Lorelai.
