Jake Bailey Ware was born in Amarillo, Texas and raised in Wheeler, Texas. After graduating Wheeler High School, Jake attended Texas Tech University, where he graduated from the Texas Tech Honors College with a degree in Honors Arts and Letters. He then went on to attend the University of Oklahoma College of Law.

Prior to joining Underwood, Jake worked as a law clerk at the Office of General Counsel to the Board of Regents at the University of Oklahoma. Jake also worked as a research assistant to Prof. Monika Ehrman and served as the Editor-In-Chief of the University of Oklahoma’s Oil and Gas, Natural Resources, and Energy Law Journal.

While not working with his clients, Jake enjoys spending time flyfishing, playing music, and being outdoors. Jake also loves to spend time with his friends and family.
