Slater Elza recently spoke at the 2012 Texas City Attorney’s Association Summer Conference at South Padre Island. The TCAA Summer Conference regularly attracts over 200 practicing municipal lawyers for 3 days of continuing education. Slater spoke on “Drafting a Peddler/Itinerant Merchant Ordinance,” focusing on the Constitutional issues involved in governing door-to-door sales and solicitations in Texas communities.
