Mr. Nevarez was born in Shamrock, Texas. He moved to Graham, Texas at the age of five. He finished his high school education in the Graham area, and his parents still reside in Graham. He received his B.A. in History from West Texas A&M University and his Juris Doctor from the University at Buffalo Law School.

Mr. Nevarez received the beginning of his immigration law training while enrolled in law school at the University at Buffalo. Buffalo, with its close proximity to the Canadian border, offered immense opportunities to be taught by leading practitioners in immigration law. Additionally, while enrolled in law school, Mr. Nevarez clerked at law offices practicing immigration law. Mr. Nevarez also attended numerous forums and presentations focusing on immigration law. These forums and presentations were held by leading individuals licensed in Canada and the United States.

Mr. Nevarez continues his education in immigration law on a daily basis. Immigration law, with its ever changing dynamic, is an evolving area of law that requires constant education and monitoring. For instance, Mr. Nevarez attended the Immigration Law Conference in Houston, Texas in February 2008. Additionally, Mr. Nevarez and Charles A. Mallard attended the 2008 Annual American Immigration Lawyers Association Conference in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada in June 2008. The Underwood Law Firm is committed to supplying its clients with top tier immigration representation. This representation includes staying abreast of immigration topics and maintaining subscriptions to leading legal materials.
