Ed Dowdy is an Amarillo native. He graduated from Tascosa High School and then received a degree from the University of Texas in Government with a minor in Business. Prior to attending law school at Texas Tech, Ed worked for United States Representative Mac Thornberry (TX-13) for three years in Washington, D.C.
