Mr. Smiley's principal areas of practice are creditor's rights, debt collection, bankruptcy, banking, and construction law. He has litigated matters in state and federal courts, including bankruptcy court. Mr. Smiley's practice emphasis is on the representation of banks, businesses and individuals in commercial disputes, client collection, asset recovery, and lien matters, and in business transactions.

  • Representation of creditors in bankruptcy matters including motions for relief from stay, objections to plan and valuation, claims actions, reaffirmation agreements, and involuntary filings
