Last week Ed Dowdy and I took a trip to the Texas Capital for “Panhandle Days.” The trip had two goals: (1) participate in Panhandle Days by lobbying the issues of the Panhandle to our Texas Legislature and, (2) get the word out about the expansion of Underwood’s government relations practice. Both goals were achieved with great success.
Ed and I were able to speak with Kel Seliger, Four Price, and John Smithee along with several other representatives from around the State. As part of Panhandle Days, we met with several different offices to inform them of several issues that are near and dear to the people of the Panhandle. We also met with several contacts we have both acquired through our experiences in Austin and Washington D.C. The trip resulted in a big step in the right direction for Underwood’s continued efforts in serving our clients interests.
Ed and I would both like to extend a warm thank you to Gary Molberg and the Amarillo Chamber of Commerce for setting up Panhandle Days and inviting us along for the fun.
