Mike Loftin

Mike Loftin is a shareholder who began practicing law in 1975 when he joined the Underwood Law Firm. He has been Board Certified in Civil Trial Law and Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 1983. While he has defended clients in virtually every type of civil litigation during his career, his focus for the past 10 years has been defending serious injury, death claims and employment law claims. He serves as lead defense counsel for a tertiary care hospital in Amarillo and frequently represents the City of Amarillo and Babcock & Wilcox Technical Services Pantex.

In addition to representing employers in employment discrimination lawsuits he serves as counsel for the employer in labor arbitrations. Mr. Loftin is frequently asked to serve as a mediator and has conducted over 500 mediations.
