On the current trip to Denmark to meet with dairy clients and prospects, we're also developing relationships with Danish firms. These relationships will be helpful as the South Plains and Panhandle wind industry continues to develop.

On Tuesday, our group toured the Vestas facility in Ringkobing, Denmark. Our group included Buzz David of the Amarillo Economic Development Corporation, Cliff Bickerstaff of Amarillo National Bank, Underwood lawyers Alan Rhodes, Lynn Tate and Chuck Mallard, Wagenvoort Advisors representatives Bart Wagenvoort and Kars Flemich and my son, Kregg.

Vestas favored us with a warm greeting. In the presentation we learned that delivery time for a Vestas turbine is approximately one year. We toured the nacelle construction area. We understood that the machines we saw were used with Vestas' 90 meter, 3 megawhat turbines.

The Vestas representatives were taken aback by the possibility of a transmission line capable of transmitting 5,000 to 10,000 megawhats of power. Many of us will be pleased if 3,000 wind turbines are added in our area to harvest this resource.

More later. Thanks for stopping by Underwood's site.

All the best.
