Underwood was pleased to have Bob Sanders, Ed Morris, Roger Cox, John Atkins, Kelln Zimmer and Matt Sherwood, all of the SandersBaker law firm, join us in January 2009. These attorneys have integrated into Underwood’s practice and we are delighted to have each of them. The skills and experience these attorneys bring to Underwood is a perfect compliment to our practice and we welcome them.
Bob Sanders brings his experience from a long legal career and involvement in the Amarillo community, and his representations compliment Underwood’s school law practice.
Ed Morris is one of Amarillo’s leading lawyers and represents an impressive array of clients both locally and throughout the region. Mr. Morris specializes in corporate and securities law and he brings a unique and sophisticated knowledge of taxation and business planning to Underwood.
Roger Cox is board certified in Business Bankruptcy Law and is an experienced Mediator and Arbitrator. Underwood’s dairy law and agricultural law practices will benefit from Mr. Cox’s involvement with complex financial transactions, debt restructuring and creditor’s rights.
John Atkins is an impressive young lawyer who is building a practice focused on commercial transactions, estate planning and civil litigation. John works alongside Mr. Morris in his securities and corporate practice.
Matt Sherwood and Kelln Zimmer are young associates with bright futures at Underwood. Matt will work with Underwood shareholder, Kelly Utsinger, on a broad array of litigations issues and will focus on employment law. Kelln will continue to work with Mr. Sanders to represent Amarillo College and other higher education institutions and also join our Underwood lawyers to practice in the areas of municipal law, estate planning and family law.
