Underwood Law Firm Cooks for the Deaf Smith County Clean-up Monday, October 16, 2006 The Underwood Law Firm Cooking Team pitched in on Saturday, October 7th at the Deaf Smith County Clean-Up Project. Underwood attorneys Slater Elza, Courtney Goodman-Morris, and Matthew Whitten, with the help of our Hereford office's own Lori Johnson, prepared 500 hamburgers and 240 hot dogs for Deaf Smith residents who volunteered their time Saturday morning to cut grass and weeds and clean up litter in and around Hereford. With nearly 600 hungry mouths to feed, Team Underwood came through. The event was the maiden voyage for Underwood's new and improved smoker - all that food was cooked in less than an hour and a half! The Underwood Cooking Team always enjoys these events and looks for any excuse to cook out. |
