
Underwood Representative, Jodi Maner, to present at upcoming International Association of Forensic Nurses Assembly

Jodi Maner, RN, is a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant at the Underwood Law Firm. The 17th Annual Scientific Assembly of the International Association of Forensic Nurses will meet in Atlanta, Georgia on October 21-25, 2009. On Wednesday, October 21, 2009, Ms. Maner will give a presentation entitled “The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly: Legal Nurse Consulting Case Analysis from the Defense Perspective.” This presentation will address the intricacies of case development from the defense perspective. Ms. Maner will review several actual case studies from various litigation areas and the different approaches utilized in defense of those cases. This presentation will assist nurses in identifying any potentially weak documentation skills and will help identify strategies to minimize malpractice exposure in their clinical settings.
