The 2008 Amarillo Farm Show
Monday, December 8, 2008

Underwood continued its level of participation at the 2008 Amarillo Farm Show. We served as one of the sponsors of the High Ground of Texas Tailgate party on Tuesday, December 2. As usual, the food was good. David Rushing’s band gets better at each High Ground tailgate event.
On Thursday, December 4, we cooked hamburgers and served them in the Paramount building. Several friends and clients joined us.
An accountant commented that “Underwood cooks more than anyone he knows.” The accountant is right, Underwood cooks to support client events. Recently we’ve supported Texas Tech football, Friona’s cheeseburger cook-off, Hereford’s dairy days, and the Canyon Independent School District.
In addition to direct client support, we value bringing clients, friends and deals together.
Underwood’s next event is a seminar on December 16, 2008. We’re hosting this event with Brown, Graham & Co. At the event Wayne Myers, from Kennedy and Coe will discuss the farm program. If you have some interest in this program or topic, please contact Jennifer Mannon at jennifer.mannon@uwlaw.com.
