Alan Rhodes and George Clift interviewed by Texas Rural Land News and Review Thursday, May 24, 2007 Ed Blackburn of "Texas Rural Land News and Review" interviewed George Clift and me on Tuesday, May 22, 2007. Ed asked about the development of the dairy industry in the Texas Panhandle. The podcast of the interview is available at here. George is the owner of Clift, Scott and Associates. In his ten or so years as a real estate broker in the Texas Panhandle, he has handled a number of large transactions. George has facilitated a number of auctions in Hartley and Dallam Counties. While auctions have been common in Kansas, George has been a leader in bringing them to the Texas Panhandle. A handful of dairy facilities are available in the Texas Panhandle at the current time. These range from spec facilities located north of Amarillo to facilities that are available through the current owner. If you have questions about the development of the dairy industry or concerning dairy facilities that are available, contact Lynn Tate, George Clift, or Alan Rhodes.
