On August 21st Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas will host an appreciation party and award ceremony for the past year's outstanding volunteers. Underwood folks who will be honored at the ceremony include attorney Sally Holt Emerson, paralegals Rhonda Brashears, Cindy Davis, and Misti Janes, as well as
the firm itself.
Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas is the most comprehensive program of delivery of legal services to the poor in this region and one of the largest in the country. The service area consists of approximately 890,000 families who fall within the federal poverty guidelines who reside in 114 counties, covering more than 106,000 square miles in Northwest Texas.
