Tuesday, March 31, 2009
The Underwood Law Firm is pleased to announce Slater Elza and Andrea Slater Gulley have been named 2009 “Texas Rising Stars.” To be honored as a Rising Star, attorneys must be age 40 or younger, or have practiced fewer than 10 years. Rising Star selections are based on nominations from fellow attorneys who previously were honored in the prestigious Texas Super Lawyers list. The selections are made by Texas Monthly magazine in cooperation with the publication Law and Politics. Only 2.5 percent of the total lawyers in Texas are listed as “Rising Stars.”
Slater Elza represents governmental entities and also maintains a civil litigation practice, representing individuals, businesses, and employers.
Andrea L. Slater Gulley's practice includes general and special education law, employment law, and election law. Andrea is also a frequent presenter at school law conferences and school administrator trainings.
